Today at Peter May Sports Centre. The competition was the first school Boccia event since the Pandemic, so it was great to be back involved and competing in this Paralympic sport.

Sayed, Hemal, Dipali and Princess showed excellent teamwork to win the first 3 group matches against Beatrice Tate (10-0), Amwell View (2-0) and Thomas Wolsey (3-1) to go through to the semi-finals.

The semi-finals were extremely close and despite leading 2-0 in the first end, Thomas Wolsey came back to win the second end by 3 points and win 3-2 overall. It was a particularly high standard. Our learners were determined to win 2-1 in the 3rd/4^th place play-off against Riverside Bridge to claim the Bronze medal!
