In 2018, to help Brent Council provide sufficient special school places for local children, The Village School opened ‘Hope Village’ on Church Lane.

We and the Council established Hope Village quickly so that children could have school places. We now need to formalise the arrangement so that Hope Village becomes a longer-term part of TVS – this requires approval from the Department for Education, and before we can apply for that we have to consult. So we are consulting about whether to expand TVS by formally including Hope Village.

Separately, consultation is also starting about expanding Woodfield to provide more places to meet demand from Brent Council. Details about that are available both on the Woodfield School website and here on The Village school website.
