GDPR

From 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect across the EU and in the UK. It is a new law that is being implemented in exactly the same way across all EU countries and the UK to create a level set of rules to ensure all data held and processed by organisations within the EU and the UK is secure and is processed lawfully. The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) post the UK leaving the EU.
