A message from our Headteacher

Posted on: 17 December 2020

Dear Families, Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of our first term of this year, I wanted to write to you all and thank you for being part of our community. This has been a term and year like no other and I know that many of you have faced challenges and changes that have had a huge impact on you and your families. I wanted to reassure you that we continue to be here to support you and your young people. I have been honoured and privileged to lead the Village school and I am determined with all my staff to continue to develop the school to be the best we can be and ensure that it is underpinned by the values that we believe in.

It is important for all of us at the Village that we ensure that pupil and family voices are heard and continue to impact on the direction of the school. We are hoping to hold a parents evening next term and although this will be held remotely for the majority of meetings we will be  able to answer all your questions and requirements related to the progress, education and wellbeing of our pupils.

I hope that you all have a good holiday period and we look forward to pupils returning on January the 4th.

Kind Regards

Hermann Farrington
