Meet the Governors

I am honoured to hold the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Compass Learning Partnership Trust. I have been the Headteacher of three special schools over a period of 15 years and being a part of the development Lead of The Village School has been the greatest achievement of my professional career. I am always learning from the inspirational Village School community. I contribute years of leadership experience and educational expertise.

I am currently the Chair of The Brent Schools Partnership with over 70 Brent schools who are members and I am also a member of the Brent Local Safeguarding Children Board. This means that I maintain an overview of what is happening in the wider community and what some of the issues are that we need to keep at the forefront of our practice. The Village School name came from a suggestion by a class of pupils and my experience of our governing body confirms my long-held belief in our philosophy that, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’.
