The Department for Education defines Pupil Premium as follows:
''The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers''

Pupil Premium Funding for 2016-2017:

Each year Pupil Premium focuses are established in response to pupil need. Our focus areas for 2016-17 will be determined with the Governing Body (Standards Committee) and set in September.
