The Department for Education defines Pupil Premium as follows:
''The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers''

Year 7 Catch-Up Premium 2018-2019
The allocated spend for this academic year is £10,000. The Village School is consulting with staff and will also consult with parents/carers as to where the spend will have the most significant impact on pupil progress. A decision will be made by the end of April 2019 on the key areas the catch-up premium will be spent on.
