Feedback from two Village school students who went through the transition pathway last year and went on to Further Education provision/college and reached a new milestone in their lives.
We were recently visited by two of our students who left last year to go onto college placements.  Haroun and Anisa were Year 14 students who were supported by the Village School Transition Team to help them to find out what and where they wanted to go after they left the Village School.
Haroun and Anisa came back to tell me about their experience at the village school and how they are getting on at their new placement  Kennet West provision which is linked to Westminster and Kingsway college (LA Westminster).
They talked about their courses and how they are getting on at their new provision and enjoying a new phase of their lives.  They wanted to come back to the Village school and share their experience and so participated in a short video.
We at the Village School are very proud and happy and wish all our leavers who have secured college and other further education provision all the very best and know that they will succeed having had a good foundation of support while they were with us at the Village School.
