Meet the Governors

I have worked in the education sector for over 25 years, firstly as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), in the secondary sector, as well as ahead of department and acting head of year. Working in mainstream schools in London has given me a wealth of experience, and has given me the skills to work not only with the students but also with all the stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership team.

After 15 years of teaching MFL, I was given the opportunity to work in the Special Needs sector, which I have enjoyed immensely. Working with students, parents and all those that support the students has been challenging and rewarding.

As a staff governor, I am looking forward to being given the opportunity to be a representative member of The Village School on the Governing Board. It is a role that I will undertake to the best of my ability, supporting the school and the Compass Learning Partnership in achieving its aims and objectives.
