Occupational Therapy
Equipment in the home environment: any concerns around equipment in the home environment such as specialist seating, hoists, slings should be directed to Social Care OT for Brent students or for Barnet students
Health needs: if your child requires a review of their splints, families need to contact their NHS OT service directly
School-based OT needs: prior to lock-down the class team sent home the relevant programmes and plans (e.g. sensory strategies; upper limb programme). If you did not receive these programmes/plans, please contact the class teacher. TVS OT department has produced a range of pre-recorded therapy sessions and written documents such as sensory strategies; fine motor skills - cutting. These can be accessed via Vimeo or will be shared directly with your TVS email address. This allows parents to be able to access these sessions at a convenient time for the family. The OT department continues to produce more pre-recorded resources for you to access and use to support your child at home.
